Trumpetvine Catering came into existence in 1979, founded by my mother. Many years later, and after several years of running the company, I purchased Trumpetvine in 2019. Throughout my life I was inspired by my mom. She instilled in me a love of food and cooking.
Along the way I also took a liking to the culinary styles of Jacques Pépin, Julia Child, Ina Garten & Yotam Ottolenghi. Having volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul as well as World Central Kitchen, I understand the importance of community service, especially in regards to providing people with delicious food.
When traveling, I am always seeking out new and interesting regional cuisine. Feeding off the inspirations of my mentors and international travels, I have been able to curate fresh and eclectic menus that serve a wide array of culinary tastes.
Trumpetvine Catering has been in the East Bay for the entirety of its existence. We are on the preferred list at various event spaces, including the East Bay Regional Park District Venues, Mill Valley Outdoor Art Club and the UC Botanical Garden to name a few.
The culinary style at Trumpetvine is seasonal, healthy abundance and understated elegance. Our chefs, waiters, bartenders and servers have all worked with us for many years, perfecting the art of providing excellent food & service.
